Fire crews called to Braiseworth as digger breaks through mains electric cable

Two fire crews have been called to a Suffolk village this afternoon as a digger has broken a mains electric cable.

Firefighters attended the farm in Braiseworth, close to Eye, as a precaution after the incident.

UK power Networks have been alerted to the break and were due to arrive for repairs at 3.50pm.

Fire crews were on the scene making sure it was safe as live electricity was present.
